I believe, attending Barbara Beveridge's course was one of the wisest decisions I've made. After my high-school graduation, I studied law in University of Istanbul. Knowing that my high-school English would be far from adequate in my career as a
corporate lawyer (which I hoped to be), I began to seek ways to familiarise myself with the "legal" English and joined Barbara's class where I learned very vital skills for a lawyer such as drafting and negotiating contracts in English.

I believe, the most important thing that sets Barbara's course apart from similar courses is that she is in the legal profession. Therefore, the course helped us learn more about not only the legal English , but also the Common Law system.

The learning atmosphere was also almost ideal. The class consisted of about 5-6 people and Barbara always gave us her time and attention for our questions even after the class.

Now, I am a corporate lawyer and sometimes native English speakers ask for my help to understand the contracts in English!

I regard this as an opportunity to once more express my appreciation for all Barbara has done for me
