Homestay In Vancouver
We encourage all students to live with a
Canadian family. This will enhance your stay in Vancouver
and help you to learn more about Canada - its people, customs
and culture.
Homestay students are placed in the homes
of Vancouver lawyers and their families who offer a secure
and friendly environment. We ensure that our families take
the opportunity to show their guests our great country and
wonderful people.
Our host families have been carefully chosen
for their ability to make guests feel welcome, comfortable
and safe. Our host families are friendly, caring and sensitive
to their guest. They will be responsive to your needs and
provide you with a rich cultural exchange!
The host family will be an important support
for you in a new country. Staying with a family will give
you a good chance to make new Canadian friends!
Apartments, Hotels & Hostels
Although we recommend Homestay accommodation,
Vancouver has many other options for accommodation. We can
assist you to find safe and clean housing in either apartments
or hotels depending on your requirements and budget. Contact
us for prices and descriptions.
Please note the following information:
- Not all our private home accommodation
is with a traditional family of a couple with children living
at home. If you have a particular preference for a family
environment, please tell us.
- It is increasingly difficult to find
homes which accept smokers. If you smoke but are willing
not to smoke in the house, this widens the choice available
to you.
- We book homestay accommodation from
the day before your course starts to the day after it ends.
The cost for the 17 days is a total of $450 Canadian. Additional
days may be arranged directly with the family at a cost
of $25/day
- We make a charge of $100 for arranging
all accommodation. This charge is non-refundable once we
have arranged the accommodation.
- If you feel the need to change your accommodation
we will do everything we can to move you without delay and
without any charge.
